Privacy Policy

In Good Order is enterprise-grade operations software for fraternal organizations — KofC councils and assemblies, Masonic lodges, Elks lodges, and Moose chapters. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to members, officers, administrators, and visitors.

Last updated: June 11, 2026

Information We Collect

  • Account and profile information, such as name, email address, phone number, role, organization affiliation, and login activity.
  • Organization operations data entered by authorized users, such as events, committees, service records, dues records, public forms, facility requests, and governance records.
  • Messaging preferences, including email, push, in-app, and SMS notification choices.
  • Payment and billing metadata provided through payment processors. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical information such as device type, browser, IP address, session activity, diagnostics, security logs, and usage patterns.

How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve the platform.
  • Authenticate users and authorize access to tenant-specific organization data.
  • Deliver requested communications, notifications, reminders, and administrative messages.
  • Support member service workflows, reporting, compliance, audit trails, and customer support.
  • Detect abuse, protect the service, maintain reliability, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Your Data Is Never Sold

In Good Order does not sell data. Information entered into the platform — member records, rosters, contact details, financial records, and operational data — is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Member information is private to the organization that manages it. It is never published publicly and is never used for advertising.

SMS Privacy

In Good Order uses SMS only for organization-related notifications and announcements when a member has provided a mobile number and opted in to SMS delivery. SMS opt-in consent and phone numbers are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Wireless carriers, messaging providers, and service vendors may process SMS-related data only as needed to deliver, support, secure, and audit the messaging service.

Sharing and Service Providers

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the platform, including hosting, authentication, email, SMS, analytics, payment processing, storage, support, security, and logging providers.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service or users, to enforce agreements, or as part of a business transaction involving the platform, subject to appropriate protections.

Tenant Data and Member Controls

Each organization controls the operational data in its tenant workspace. Authorized organization administrators manage member records, roles, visibility settings, communications, and retention workflows for their organization.

Members can update notification preferences in the portal. SMS preferences can be changed in the portal or by replying STOP to a text message.

Security and Retention

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration.

While a subscription is active, we retain information as needed to provide the service, meet legal and operational obligations, preserve audit history, resolve disputes, and support legitimate organization records.

If an organization cancels its subscription, its workspace data — including member records and operational records — is permanently destroyed 30 days after cancellation takes effect. During that 30-day window the organization can export its data or reactivate its account. Billing and invoice records are retained only as required by law.
